Mix Tape of the Day: June 14, 2015 - The Best of Disney: The Overshadowed Era (1992-1996)
With the Disney Renaissance in full force, Disney's next batch of films had to rise to the occasion or else they would fade into obscurity. Fortunately, The Lion King was a crowning achievement in the Disney canon, but as a result, it overshadowed nearly every other film that came out around a similar time. Many of these other films became rightful cult classics and I felt I couldn't just skip all the way through to the end of the '90s without them.
