Mix Tape of the Day: April 15, 2015 - Money! Money! Money!

It's Tax Day!  So let's celebrate getting money, having money, and losing money, whichever your preference may be.

Everyone says that having lots of money is a burden and it's not all it's cracked up to be.  But as this song can attest, being loaded is awesome.  "If money can't buy happiness, then I guess I'll have to rent it."

"We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!" I just really enjoy that turn of phrase.

Broadway day leftovers have brought us my favorite song from Cabaret.  This is just so great to experience on stage.

Some songs you just have to include on your money mixes.

Leave it to ABBA to set our frantic need for money to a manic soundtrack.

Those who have to work a bit harder for their money tend to get jealous of those who seem to come into money and fame more easily than themselves.

Or you could always strike oil!

Old classic rock songs were all about two things: heartbreak and needing more money.

This parody satirizes the fact that early Beatles songs always seemed to be about them hitting people up for cash (in the guise of a love song).

Try to forget the fact that Donald Trump made this song annoying.

While we may not all relate to having money, we can all relate to working hard for it.  Well, maybe not all of us...but most of us.

Some people have money to spend on their loved ones.  Or to flaunt, depending on how you read this song.

It seems that even Weird Al has fallen on hard times.  In one of his quickest parody turn-arounds ever, Al released this alternate take on T.I.'s "Whatever You Like."
